The much-delayed Sony Ericsson Xperia pro is finally due to be released in the UK on 6 October. The phone was originally pegged for a June release, before continually being pushed back – mainly due to component shortages following the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. So far the phone has only been released in Canada through Fido.
UK retailer Clove has confirmed that stock is due next week and has the phone listed at £322.80 (the same price as the Xperia neo incidentally, despite the inclusion of a QWERTY keyboard). We would expect the Xperia pro to roll out to other European territories at the same time.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia pro is finally available to order in the UK, following months of delays. The phone was originally due to be released in June, before continually being pushed back – mainly due to component shortages following the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.
Clove currently has the handset in stock for £306.00, which seems a reasonable price for the QWERTY-clad Android handset. Interestingly, this is cheaper than the Xperia neo that is currently selling for £322.80, despite the fact that it has identical specs to the neo plus the slide-out keyboard.
