Hi,

1. i dowlnoaded right_softkey_hook.itm from SE Elm by Duals (http://www.sonyerics...odyfikacje-elm/)
2. put file in tpa/preset/custom
3. uploaded blank customize_upgrade.xml to tpa/preset/cutom

And the softkey left the origin.  

Also make Master Reset (settings only), no success.

My phone is Elm r7ca061 red cid 81

I googled other forums, there is the same instruction everywhere.

Can anyone help me?

try other customize upgrade. Did you have progres bar on the first run after added softkeys?

Customize_upgrade is blank, no text inside.
Yes, there was progres bar at startup.

i think it's doesn't matter but update your software to R7CA065 and try again.

In my area r7ca061 is the latest fw. Any other suggestions?

Try to delete all files from tpa/preset/system/custmenu

There is no such folder at all.
Custmenu folder i founded in system/preset/custmenu (not tpa/preset/system), but it has many folders containing xml files in each. I wouldnt dare to delete its content.

then delete cust_menu_data.dat and cust_menu_done_unpacking.dat from

system/preset/custmenu

Not found, i did as you said. Nothing happened. Softkeys left unchanged
Maybe it is because i copy files using java app?

Yes, you're right. Thank you for correcting

vaidasbar - How did you put the right softkey? With java app too? Does it work right? Try to put left softkey with Far + SEFP as not found say After that turn on the phone, wait progressbar and turn the phone off. Next with the Far + SEFP go to system/preset/custmenu and delete files that pointed not found.

It works

The problem was that code in customise_upgrade.xml was not correct. It was the first line unnecessary.
