This topic is a tribute to my second Sony Ericsson phone, but the first multimedia phone - Sony Ericsson W700i Carolina. I've bought that phone during summer holidays in United Kingdom in 2006 year.

This very unique phone was released in 2006 year. One year after the first Walkman phone - W800i. Design is the same, but golden colour joined with silver keyboard, silver body, silver camera cover and a little amber plastic stone in the joystick - that was incredibly amazing. There was only 4 differences between W700 and W800:

- colour,
- bluetooth 2.0
- 256 MB memory card instead of 512 MB in W800,
- 2 MPx camera without autofocus.

Now after 6 years i would like to present some pictures taken by W700 camera without autofocus. I know, in nowadays almost every phone has build in camera. Sometimes with 12 - 16 MPx cmos sensor, sometimes with xenon and for sure with autofocus. But believe me, in 2006 year it was something huge. I hope you will enjoy that pictures taken by W700 Carolina's 2MPx camera without autofocus in Ryde, Newport, Southampton and the last picture - in Cracow :)

Nice photos, I see you had a great views in UK  Those photos are a little worse than pictures taken by W800/K750, but still better than my "Cyber-Shot" C510

it's a pity that people are so gullible and think that bigger number of megapixels = better quality. in other circumstances the cellphone manufacturers could focus on improving the sensors instead of cramming modules taking crappy photos in enormous resolutions.
