However, this cheap tariff will only equip the music-focused handset with 200 minutes and 100MB data. Up this to a £21.44 O2 contract, and you’ll get a much-more reasonable 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of mobile data.
Besides its lighter-hued casing and Orange-coloured bezel, the handset sports identical specs to the original Mix Walkman. Amongst these, as its name suggests, you’ll find a built-in Sony Walkman player, alongside Sony’s Shazam-esque TrackID software, a built-in FM radio, PlayNow, Karaoke functionality and Zappin key.
The phone also arrives touting a 3.2-inch capacitive screen, and although it forgoes Android OS, this still comes dressed in Sony’s Four Corner UI. Other confirmed specifications include; a 3.2 megapixel rear-facing camera, WiFi connectivity, and up to 32GB of expandable memory.
